At CRC, we have an unwavering commitment to provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and contractors.

We maintain stringent health, safety and environmental policies at every work site. All CRC employees and contractors are required to follow these policies and take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their co-workers, including the right, without repercussions, to stop any job or task that they perceive may be unsafe. We also expect and require employees, contractors and visitors to immediately report accidents as well as unsafe practices and conditions.

CRC consistently ranks among the safest companies in the United States with a safety performance equivalent to non-industrial sectors like finance and insurance. In recognition of the exemplary safety performance of our workforce, CRC and our regional operations received 24 National Safety Achievement Awards for our 2019 performance. CRC's workforce achieved the best-ever Injury and Illness Incidence Rate (IIR) – the number of recordable injuries and illnesses of employees and contractors per 100 workers – in the history of its operations in 2019 with zero employee recordable events and an overall rate including contractors of 0.34. For comparison, this rate is better than radio broadcasters, insurance agents and stockbrokers as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor.
